It produces Brunello di Montalcino D.O.C.G., Rosso di Montalcino D.O.C., table wine, olive oil, Grappa of Brunello, Rosolio ai Petali di Rosa and honey. Il Grappolo
- The “Il Grappolo” estate covers some 25 hectares south of Montalcino, right in the centre of Tuscany. It is about 90 km from Florence and 30 km from Siena, near the Tyrrhenian sea and the hills of the Maremma district, in an area thick with Mediterranean macchia, or scrub vegetation. Its vineyards enjoy exceptional exposure and distinctive soils, plus a climate particularly favourable to vinegrowing. Cluster thinning and rigorous selection of the grapes before harvest are practised, since only the finest selection goes into “Brunello di Montalcino.

- Located on the western side of Montalcino, the estate is quite high in terms of altitude - roughly 480 meters above sea level. This altitude ensures excellent ventilation which is salutary for grapes, as it reduces mold production to a bare minimum.

Il Poggione
- The history of Tenuta Il Poggione as we know it today begins in the late 19th century with the story of Lavinio Franceschi, who owned land in Scandicci (the hills around Florence). Franceschi was so fascinated by the stories of a shepherd who took his flock to summer pasture on the Maremma slopes of the hills between Montalcino and Sant' Angelo, that he organized an inspection of the area, unconcerned by the distance and dangers threatening travelers in those days.
