Castello di Volpaia - Fattoria Castello di Volpaia di Giovanna Stianti - The Castello di Volpaia was built in the 11th century as a fortified village on the Florence/Siena border. Although only part of the original protective walls and two of its six towers are still standing, the medieval layout and buildings within the village are still intact, making Volpaia undoubtedly one of the best preserved villages of its period. The most important renaissance building is the Church of Sant'Eufrosino.

La Fornace - The Fornace Farm is a small family-owned farm with old rural traditions. Our parents bought the farm where they had been working for their whole life as metayers.  La Schiaccionaia - Azienda Agricola di Riccardo Rolla E Marcella Turziani - In Poggi del Sasso, Town of Cinigiano, under a shamelessly clear and blue sky we bought a field on a hillside, made barren by time and neglect. Little by little we tranformed it into a vineyard, smoothing its asperities and modelling it as much as needed in order to see descending rows of grape-laden vines. Our “city vintner” adventure starts here: we have always loved nature and are bewitched by this rough and harmonious land.

Pierazzuoli - Tenute Cantagallo E Le Farnete - Tenuta Cantagallo belongs to our family since 1970; the first who decided to work there was the grand-father, but the love for country life and the respect for the old farmers way of life passed on to the nephews; in fact it’s about ten years that Enrico (one of the nephews) gave new strength to the farm activities, directing them toward high quality wine production and quitting loose wine selling. In the last years Enrico’s wife Monia and the other brothers and sisters, Enrica, Serena and Dario, flanked Enrico, increasing the farm activities with foodstuffs production (honey, preserves, sauces etc.
