Bibbiano - Tenuta Di Bibbiano - “Tenuta di Bibbiano” is in an area where grapevines have been grown since the 11th century, as documented in a notarial deed which in September 1089 ratified the donation by Mingarda di Morando of the “curte” and the “castello de Bibiune, cum ecclesia, cum casis, (…) viteis” to Giovanni di Benzo. The development of wine-growing in the historical Chianti area adjacent to the Val d'Elsa dates back to the late Middle Ages and grew rapidly thanks to the new techniques which reached Tuscany from northern Europe through the Francigena Road and one of its important branches running through the Tenuta.

Casale Dello Sparviero - In the last few years Fattoria Campoperi has completed a deep renewal of the estate, through some fundamental steps, such as the rescue of the patrimony of autochthonous varieties already in place, primarily Sangiovese and Canaiolo, and the introduction of new varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot: more than two thirds of the 90 hectares of vineyards of the estate have been replaced with modern, high density planting systems, new training systems and low yield per hectare.

Fonterutoli was again the site, in 1202 and 1208, of the signing of the peace treaties that determined the historicassignment of the Chianti region to the Republic of Florence.

At that time it was a fortified complex comprising the Church of Santa Cristina with a characteristic single large nave (unusual for the parish churches of Chianti). The facade, decorated with a well preserved cornice made of limestone, is highly original. The impressive construction of the farmhouse dominates the village. The complex was owned by the Marquis of Tuscany, later by the Abbey of Poggibonsi and by the Hospital of Santa Maria Nuova di Firenze.
