- The estate Podere Guado al Melo is a property of 10 hectares situated on the Tuscan coast in the Municipality of Castagneto Carducci (Livorno) in the heart of DOC Bolgheri territory.
The vineyard extends for about 9 hectares at the foot of the hills, surrounded by the Mediterranean scrublands and the “Fossa di Bolgheri” stream. The area was also a place of ancient dwelling; the remains of an old Etruscan blast furnace have been found there on the summit of an Aeolian hill.

La Cipriana - Azienda Agricola La Cipriana
- The wine cellar of the firm is totally underground to assure a perfect temperature for the operations of vinification and aging. The grapes, exclusively of firm's property, are vinified in concrete tanks with controlled temperature.
The firm, which is a member of the association Consorzio Bolgheri DOC, is helped in the control of the estate and of the wine cellar by external experts who are the oenologist Alberto Antonini and the agronomist Stefano Bartolomei.
