Saiagricola is the agricultural investment company for Fondiaria-SAI Group. This definition is of course correct, but does not give sufficient merit to all the human resources that contributed to making it a reality and making it become what it is today.
In fact, since the beginning (1978), just as today, its real richness is in its human resources at hand; a young dynamic management team leading a group of people, in which everyone on their own behalf, work with a commitment to the overall quality that the group has decided to follow and achieve.
It is for this reason that in recent years SAIAGRICOLA has become a prestigious agriculture company as well as a point of reference on a national level in various product sectors. The recognition that the Italian and foreign press attributed to Vino Nobile di Montepulciano produced by Fattoria del Cerro, Brunello di Montalcino by La Poderina and Sagrantino di Montefalco by Colpetrone are also the results of the commitment of those that work there. It is this personal sense of participation to reach a common goal that helps explain SAIAGRICOLA's strong link with its business partners. All the farms in the group have always been representative of trustworthiness and qualitative perseveran- ce to the consumer. However, SAIAGRICOLA today does not only produce wine. In particular there are various types of rice from Cascina Veneria in Vercelli (Piemonte), considered to be some of the best in Italy by experts and gourmets or the very unique Sunflower Oil, the top of its class in seed oils, produced by Tenuta di Montecorona of Umbertide, in the central- eastern part of Umbria. There is also Extra Virgin Olive Oil DOP from "Terre di Siena" and "Umbria".
